So I’m going to tell you about some of the fun things I do to show my mom I appreciate her. Since my mom loves botanicals, flowers and gardening, I make her homemade gifts and cards with that theme. In the past, I warm, we will sometimes go to the beach on Mother’s Day or do some outdoor gardening. She also loves tea parties or just going on a nice, calm walk outside. My mom’s favorite Mother’s Day memory was when we lived in Northern Ireland. Our family went to a castle, and she saw a large group of people near the castle playing what looked like a game of catch with a big iron ball. They were playing a game called bullets, where two teams try to throw an iron ball in the least number of throws to a certain end zone. When they saw us, they stopped their game and all said hello and let us hold the iron ball. They were so kind and it was such an awesome experience. I love celebrating Mother’s Day and all the fun things we do to celebrate my mom. So to all the moms out there, and especially mine, Happy Mother’s Day!
