IOP Beach Run WHEN: 7/27 8 a.m. WHERE: The Windjammer Enjoy running or walking this annual City of IOP race that takes place entirely on the beach at low tide. The 5K/10K run and 5K walk begin at 8 a.m. and the Youth Fun Runs start at 8:30 a.m. Register online or swing by the IOP Rec Center. 4th of July Fireworks Show WHEN: 7/4 9 p.m. WHERE: Front Beach Bring the whole family out to Front Beach to celebrate Independence Day and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display put on by the City of Isle of Palms. Sea Stroll & Learn WHEN: 7/11 7:30 a.m. WHERE: 25th Ave beach access Mary Pringle with the Island Turtle Team will be leading an educational walk on sea turtles. Sea Strolls are held the second Thursday of the month from May-November. Free. Residents and visitors are welcome. Farmer’s Market & Food Truck Jam Series WHEN: 7/18 4-7 p.m. WHERE: IOP Recreation Center Featuring fresh produce, food vendors, live music and more. The farmer’s market will be held every third Thursday from June through October. Free admission. Parking is available on site.
