IslandVibesIOP.com 21 was simple: sell a few beach homes while enjoying life by the ocean. Ten years later, that modest vision has grown into something much larger. Amy has become one of the area’s top-producing agents, ranked in the top 1% of all Charleston real estate professionals, and the firm now helps clients buy and sell homes not only on Isle IOP Residential rebrands as Crown Coast Properties By Emily Sams REAL ESTATE When Amy Rogers and her husband Tommy relocated from Charlotte to Isle of Palms in 2015 and founded IOP Residential Real Estate, their plan of Palms, but also on Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and in downtown Charleston. To better reflect the scope of their work across the Lowcountry, IOP Residential has rebranded as Crown Coast Properties. “It’s funny – when we picked the name IOP Residential years ago, we didn’t give it much thought,” Amy said. “I had worked for a firm in Charlotte called CLT Residential, so we just followed the same pattern. But as the company grew, the name began to feel limiting.” Over time, clients would often ask whether the firm operated outside of Isle of Palms. “We were working across the Greater Charleston area, and the name didn’t reflect that,” she added. “Plus, outside the immediate area, not many people even knew what IOP stood for. We knew it was time for a change.” To help with the rebrand, Amy and Tommy brought in Brett Talbot, a former creative director from a ChiLISTING AGENT LISTING COMPANY SELLING AGENT SELLING COMPANY CLOSING DATE SELLING PRICE PRICE PER SQ. With his familiarity with the Lowcountry and a clear brief in hand – create a name and logo that captured both the geography and the luxury of the Charleston real estate market – Talbot got to work. “I knew what I wanted the new brand to convey,” Talbot said. “We sell high-end homes from downtown Charleston to the beaches of Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island – and everywhere in between.” The result: Crown Coast Properties. “The crown is a subtle nod to King and Queen streets downtown, while coast reflects the beachfront communities we serve,” Tommy explained. “And we love Brett’s crown symbol in the logo. It is not only a literal crown, but if you look closely, it also resembles ocean waves and the Ravenel Bridge.” For Amy and Tommy, the rebrand isn’t just about a new look, it’s the natural evolution of a business guided by a deep love for the Lowcountry.
